Soulmask is demanding: plan for around 12 GB of RAM for about twenty players, and 16 to 24 GB for 40 to 70 players with many tribe recruits. The game already uses close to 11 GB at startup. Our tiers are sized for this, and you can adjust your plan as your tribe grows.
Up to 70 players, the maximum the game allows. Keep in mind that your tribe's NPC recruits also weigh on resources: a server crowded with both players and recruits needs the 24 GB tier. For a small tribe of friends, a more modest plan is plenty.
Yes. Soulmask supports Steam Workshop mods. Grab the mod's ID from the Workshop, enter it in your server settings, and it loads on startup. You can add several and remove them at any time. Fine-grained management stays manual, through the mod IDs.
Both. You choose your server's PvE or PvP mode, then fine-tune the survival rules, difficulty and pace from the in-game admin panel and the configuration files. Switching mode takes effect after a server restart.
