We host the official SCS Software Convoy dedicated server, the multiplayer mode built into the game. TruckersMP is a third-party service with central servers that you cannot self-host. With a dedicated Convoy server, you keep your own private server, your rules, your mods and your convoy among friends or community.

A Convoy server holds 8 drivers out of the box, and up to 128 once you expand the convoy size. Above 8, each player must enable the extended limit in their own game files to join. Pick your tier based on your target convoy size, and you can scale it up in a few clicks.

No, the American Truck Simulator dedicated server runs without owning the game or DLC: we install it and keep it updated for you. Each player who joins your convoy does need the game on Steam, though. Matching map DLC is recommended so everyone can drive the same regions together.

Yes, your server supports mods. You import them from the panel's file manager, then enable them in the server configuration. Important: every player in your convoy must own exactly the same mods, in the same order, to join the session without errors.
