Convoy is the official multiplayer built into Euro Truck Simulator 2: private, up to 8 players, compatible with your mods and AI traffic, with no third-party software. TruckersMP is a separate community mod, massively multiplayer, that cannot be self-hosted. Our servers host the official Convoy.

The official Convoy holds 8 players by default, which covers most groups. Since version 1.50 you can go up to 32 players and beyond, provided every participant enables that limit in their own game files. The server itself stays light whatever the size.

Yes. Convoy mode accepts up to 70 mods (maps like ProMods, trucks, traffic). You generate the server_packages file from your own game, then upload it to the server through the file manager. Every player must run the exact same mods, in the same order, to join the session.

Your server updates automatically on each start, and you can verify file integrity in one click. You can also switch to a specific game branch, for example staying on one version until your mods catch up, straight from the server settings.

A regular session depends on a host: the moment they disconnect, the convoy stops. A dedicated server stays online 24/7, keeps your settings intact and never exposes your personal address. Your friends join whenever they want, without waiting for you to be online, and enjoy DDoS protection.
