Go, or Golang, produces compiled, fast and lightweight programs, designed for concurrency. It powers Discord bots with discordgo, APIs and web services with net/http, Gin or Echo, websockets and any program that has to run around the clock on few resources.
Hosting it with MineStrator instead of on your own computer keeps your program online 24/7 without leaving your machine on. Point us to your GitHub or GitLab repository, public or private: it is cloned and then built on installation with Go 1.27. To ship your latest commits, reinstall your server: the repository is updated and your program rebuilt.
A MyBox is not limited to a single server: your app can run next to a MariaDB, MongoDB or Redis database, or your game servers, on the same pool of resources. Everything is managed from one panel: real-time console, file manager and SFTP access, scheduled tasks. StratorAI, the assistant included with every paid MyBox, reads your server logs to help you understand an error.
Built from Git on installation
Enter your GitHub or GitLab repository, public or private with an access token, then reinstall: it is cloned and built on your server. Prefer your own files? Upload your sources over SFTP, or your ready-built Linux binary straight away.
Go 1.27, cgo and your settings
Your program is built with Go 1.27, and a newer version is downloaded if your go.mod requires it. Set the folder to build and the executable name. cgo works, and git, ffmpeg and sqlite3 come preinstalled.
Your bot, database and games in one MyBox
A MyBox is not limited to a single server: run a MariaDB, MongoDB or Redis database next to your app, or your game servers, on the same pool of resources. You can also invite collaborators, with the permissions you choose.

Pick a plan, then create a Go server in your MyBox. Enter your bot's Git repository in the settings and reinstall: it is built, then launched on every startup. You can also upload your ready-built binary. Your bot stays connected 24/7, even with your computer off.
Your program is built with Go 1.27. If your go.mod requires a newer version, it is downloaded automatically at build time. The built program then runs on Debian 12: no Go tooling is needed to run it.
Enter your repository address, and its branch if needed, in the server settings, then reinstall the server: the repository is cloned and built. For a private repository, add your username and a personal access token. If your program is not at the root, set its folder, for example ./cmd/bot.
Push your commits to your repository, then reinstall your server from the panel: the latest commits are pulled and your program is rebuilt, without touching your other files. If you upload your binary yourself, simply replace it and restart.
Yes. Build it for 64-bit Linux (GOOS=linux, GOARCH=amd64), upload the binary to the root of the server over SFTP or from the file manager, and set its name in the settings. It is launched as it is on every startup, with no build step.
Make your program listen on the port assigned to your server, which you read with os.Getenv("SERVER_PORT"). It then answers on the address and port shown in your panel, behind our DDoS protection. A Discord bot needs no port at all: it connects to Discord on its own.
Little: a compiled Go program is lightweight, and a Discord bot or a small API runs very comfortably on 1 GB, the default allocation. Plan for more for a heavily used service or one that keeps a lot of data in memory. A MyBox is shared between several servers: even the smallest plan hosts several apps.
