Step 1: Creating the server
Create a satisfactory server with at least the recommended resources (1 core, 6GB of RAM). Once the installation process is completed, start the server and copy its IP address and port, they will then be used for connection.
Step 2: Adding the in-game server with the Server Manager
On your game menu, go to the Server Manager.
Then click on Add server.
Enter the IP and port of our server that we previously copied.
If you have a server certificate warning, it’s normal, the server generates its own certificate that the game cannot verify. Only accept if it is indeed your server and you know what you are doing.
You will be asked to 'claim' the server because you are the first person to connect to it. You are therefore invited to choose the name of the server. This name will appear in the list of servers when players try to connect.
Then choose the Admin password for the server. This is not the login password, but the password to configure the server.
Step 3: Creation of the save
Now go to the Create Game tab, then choose the Starting Area on the map. Put a Session Name that will be the name of your save and then click on Start Game. Confirm next step.
You can then join the server and start playing!
