Hello!
You’ve just created your Satisfactory server with MineStrator. Some settings can be adjusted directly from the in-game server interface, but not all of them. The MineBoard Settings tab lets you modify the others—let’s go through them together!
🧪 [Experimental] Maximum Number of Players
Value type: number
Description:
The server and client are currently not optimized to support more than 4 players. However, you can change this value up to 127. Proceed at your own risk.
💾 Number of Rotating Auto-Saves
Value type: number
Description:
The number of automatic saves the server should keep before the oldest one is deleted and the others are shifted down the list.
🔧 [Advanced] Branch Name
Value type: public | experimental
Description:
Used to download or switch to an experimental branch of the game.
The “Automatic Updates” and “Validate Server Files” options must be enabled to change the branch if the server is already installed.
🔄 Automatic Updates
Value type: 0 | 1
Description:
When set to 1, the server checks for updates at startup and updates automatically if one is available.
⌛ [Advanced] Initial Client Connection Timeout
Value type: number
Description:
Time in seconds to wait for a new client connection to be established before disconnecting.
🔁 [Repair] Validate Server Files
Value type: 0 | 1
Description:
Validates all server files when set to 1 and automatic updates are enabled.
⚠️ Warning: enabling this greatly increases the time required for the server to start. It is not necessary to enable it if the server is running correctly.
⌛ [Advanced] Established Client Connection Timeout
Value type: number
Description:
Time (in seconds) to wait before considering an existing client connection as expired. Normally, you don’t need to increase this value (default is 20) unless your connection is unstable or regularly experiences high latency.
🔌 Reliable Port
Value type: number
Description:
Additional port used for server connections.
⚠️ Warning: don’t pick a random number. This will only work if you have a dedicated IP option. Each MyBox comes with a certain number of additional dedicated ports that supplement the main port—choose one of these. These ports are then distributed among the pods (servers) on your MyBox. You can find them in the Access tab of your server panel.
