Hello everyone and welcome to this new tutorial that will guide you through adding a sub-user to your MineStrator server.
A sub-user is a trusted person to whom you grant certain access rights to your server. Depending on the permissions you assign, they may be able to start and stop the server, manage files, interact with the console, and more.
1 - Collecting the Email Address
The first step is to obtain the email address of your sub-user. This person must create a MineStrator account using that email address before you can add them as a sub-user to access your server.
Once you’ve collected the email address, head over to your advanced management panel.
2 - Creating the Sub-User
In your advanced management panel, select the server for which you want to add a sub-user.
Click on Sub-users to access the server's sub-user management page, then click the Create New button at the top right.

You will then arrive on the sub-user creation page. In the Email Address field, enter the email your sub-user used to create their MineStrator account.
Next, select the permissions you want to grant this sub-user and click the Add New Sub-User button. This sub-user will then be able to access your server with the permissions you’ve assigned.
To remove a sub-user, simply click the Revoke button next to their name in your sub-user list. This will immediately remove their access to your server.
You can also modify their permissions by clicking the Configure Permissions button.
3 - Accessing the Server as a Sub-User
Your sub-user must now log into their MineStrator account to access the server.
Once logged in, they can access your server by clicking on the Access Advanced Management Panel button. The server should now appear in the list, and the Relationship column in the table should indicate Sub-user for the corresponding server.
If you granted your sub-user SFTP access to the server, they will find the login details by clicking the Your SFTP Access (Sub-user) button on the server list page in the basic panel.

Your sub-user can now interact with the server according to the permissions you’ve assigned.
That’s the end of this tutorial. Feel free to join the MineStrator Discord if you have any difficulties managing your sub-users.
Have fun!
